Isangi, Democratic Republic of Congo

This REDD and afforestation project will protect 1550 square kilometers of biologically diverse but threatened forest and its people. The project is located in the Isangi Territory, whose forest contains thousands of rare and declining species of vertebrates, invertebrates, and plants.

The qualitative review of the forest indicated large carbon stocks in intact primary rainforest similar to the
Isangi concession.


Mbirikani grassland Carbon Project, Kenya
Jadora, in partnership with Soils for the Future, is joining with the Mbirikani Group Ranch to restore carbon to the soil of 100,000 ha (250,000 acres) of African savannah near Amboseli National Park, Kenya.
