Early Stage Project Developement

In April 2011 Jadora team members traveled to Kubulu to undertake a preliminary assessment of the Kubulu concession.

The concession lies within the Equator province of the DRC and is located to the northwest of our Isangi concession, along the Congo River.

The trip investigated logistics and infrastructure as well as a qualitative analysis of forest structure.

Jadora concluded that there is sufficient infrastructure and access to the forest to begin a Forest Carbon Assessment Program (FCAP). Interviews with local village elders and communities indicated the population was receptive and willing for a Jadora REDD project in the area.
